Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to provide landscaping and maintenance services at USAE Waterways Experiment Station, Vicksburg, MS. Complete, comprehensive maintenance of trees, shrubs, and planter beds will be required. Work shall include, but not be limited to, trimming and pruning of shrubs and trees, removal of unwanted vegetation in planter beds, chemical applications as required, replacement of vegetation as required, and new plantings of vegetation as directed. A one (1) year contract with options for four (4) additional years will be awarded. The Government intends to release solicitation number DACW39-97-B-0010 on or about July 21, 1997 via the Internet. The solicitation and specifications will be available only through the Internet; printed copies will not be mailed. However, copies of associated drawings should be requested through the issuing office. Also, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any amendments to this solicitation. It is, therefore, the contractor's responsibility to view the website frequently. A minimum of thirty (30) days from the date of release will be allowed for submission of bids (reference solicitation for actual response date).
