The excavated material shall be obtained from borrow areas north and south of, and parallel to, the new dike. Approximately 73,180 cubic yards of material, measured in place, shall be required for the construction of the new dike. The project site is located at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge near Brigham City, Utah. The contract period of performance will be 120 calendar day from the contractor's receipt of the notice to proceed, which will be issues o/a September 5, 1997. The estimated price range is $100,000- $250,000. This solicitation will not be restricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered.
