Project includes the removal and replacement of existing panelboards, the addition of HVAC equipment and secondary exits in the main electrical rooms, the removal and relocation of existing electrical equipment to correct National Electrical Code violations, and the installation of new branch circuit wiring and receptacles per the National Electrical Code, and incidental related work complete and ready for use. The work also includes the replacement of existing switchboard "EPDB-22" and the maintenance of all emergency loads served by :EDPB-22", to be served by an on-site trailer-mounted generator set "TG-1". The generator set and required components shall be contained within the designated lay-down area. -- The estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. -- Firm Fixed Price Contract. -- Contract duration is approximately 270 calendar days. -- Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. -- This project is unrestricted. -- The Standard Industrial Code is 1731 and the annual size standard is $17 million. It is recommended the subcontracting goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting effort. -- NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
