This work includes provisions of necessary labor, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision to demolish and remove the existing 2-ton hoist and associated structural steel monorail, crane rail, and overhead supports; demolish, remove, and replace two 2-story structural steel work platforms with associated stairways, handrails, light fixtures, wiring, and fire suppression piping; relocation of two steam unit heaters, steam piping, electrical conduit, wires, and switches; extension of the existing 9-1/2 ton crane system including erection of structural steel I-beam support columns and concrete foundations, support beams, I-beam monorails, crane rail, and electric trolley wires; site cleanup and incidental related work at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1796. The related Small Business size standard is 7.0 million. Completion time is 75 days after award Estimated value is under $100,000.00.
