Marion, Contracting Officer, 301-743-6883 The Naval EOD Technology Division has a requirement for a sole source procurement to Texas Instruments Inc for two (2) thermal imagers. This procurement is part of the counterproliferation equipment packages being delivered to the Special Improvised Explosive Device (SIED) units. The thermal imager is intended to be used in the field by EOD technicians to find and identify sensor threat or ordnance in a low light/no light environment. Texas Instruments is the only responsible source since they are the only company that provides an uncooled unit meeting the size, weight, cooling requirements, image resolutions, power dissipation, and operating range. In addition, to ensure compatibility between existing equipment packages, it is crucial that the same units are procured. Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price Supply. Delivery: 120 DAC.
