solicitation notice appearing in the Commerce Business Daily, June 24,
1997, for Technical Support Services for Environmental Assessments,
Benefits Analysis and Total Maximum Daily Load Determinations for the
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Water (OW), is
modified as follows: 1) The anticipated periods for the contract are
revised from a two year (24 month) Base Period of 30,800 direct labor
hours with a one year (12 month) Option Period of 15,400 direct labor
hours, to a one year (12 month) Base Period with two one year (12
months each) Option Periods of 15,400 direct labor hours each. The
total potential direct labor hours on the contract of 46,200 direct
labor hours over 36 months remains unchanged. The Government also
anticipates including quantity option amounts of 100% for the Base and
each Option Period, which brings the maximum total potential on the
contract to 92,400 direct labor hours over the 36 months, which remains
unchanged from the original announcement; 2) The identified need has
been modified to remove the requirement for providing expert/peer
review support to the EPA Office of Water. All other aspects of the
solicitation announcement remain unchanged. Solicitation PR-CI-97-10291
will appear on the Internet. It is anticipated that this solicitation
will be issued on or around the first week in August. The incumbent
contractor for the requirement is TetraTech, Inc., Fairfax, VA. All
requests for the solicitation must be in writing, telephone requests
will not be honored. You may FAX your request to Nancy Muzzy at
513-366-2004. The EPA has set this action aside for small businesses.
