The U.S. EPA, Office of Research and Development, National Risk Management Research Laboratory, Technology Transfer and Support Division has a need for services to develop a guide to environmental visioning for community-based environmental decision-makers. This guide will present technical information in an easy-to-understand manner to environmental decision-makers on using geographic information systems to develop environmental visions for community-based environmental protection. Using the results from EPA funded visioning efforts and other visioning and environmental assessment efforts, a 75-page (approximate) guide will be developed and due within 18 months from the date of award. This is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The sic code is 8742, and the size standard is $5 million. EPA intends to issue a request for a written quotation (RFQ). The RFQ will be issued on or about July 18, 1997 with written quotations due on or about August 1, 1997.
