A/E services are required in the area of Electrical discipline. A/E shall provide comprehensive architect/engineer services for the design of various in-house projects at any one of the three divisions of the Portland VA Medical Center. The scope of work may include the preparation of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services, site visits, and miscellaneous reports. Contract performance will be one (base) year beginning date of contract award, with optional (4), 1 year extensions. The total contract amount including all option years shall not exceed $500,000. Individual task orders shall not exceed $50,000. Selection criteria: 1. Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; 2. Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; 3. Capacity to accomploish the work in the required time; 4. Past performance on contracts with the VA and other Governmenet agencies in term of cost control, quality of work, compliance with work schedules; 5. Locations in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality. The area of consideration is within a 50 mile radius of the Medical Cetner. A/E must have an existing production office within the geographic limitation. This procurement is 100% set aside for small emerging business.
