STORAGE TANK REPLACEMENT PROJECTS SOL DTFA08-97-R-02938 POC Contractor

Edward R. Gibson (310) 725-7566 Public announcement of proposed
procurement. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific
Region, under the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) herby
publicly announces its intention to contract for two similar projects
on the same contract, to a single contractor. Project 1 -- Ontarior
Intenational Airport, Ontario, California: The Contractor shall remove
and dispose of two (2) existing underground fuel storage tanks. A 550
and a 1,000 gallon tanks located respectively at the Glide Slope,
Runway 26L, and the Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR-9). the Contractor
shall furnish and install one (1) 600 gallon underground fuel storage
tank at the Glide Slope Runway 261. The estimated dollar range for
this project is between $50,000 to $70,000. Project 2 -- Redlands
Municipal Airport, Redlands, California: The Contractor shall remove
and dispose of one (1) existing 500 gallon underground fuel storage
tank located at the Remote Transmitter and Receiver Facility (RTR). The
estimated dollar range for this project is between $40,000 to $60,000.
For both projects, all piping, guard posts and miscellaneous debris
associated with the project shall also be removed and disposed of by
the Contractor. The removal and disposal of all material and debris
shall be in accordance with local, State and Federal regulations. Both
projects will be awarded to one contractor, on a single contract.
