SIC 3559, 500. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations that are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotations (RFQ). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquistion Circular 90-46. This requirement is three line items. The first line item 0001 Fan waste Evacuation system 7 1/2 hp motor @ 460 volts 3 cycles/60hz to include automatic filter shaker and air system support brackets. The second line item 0002 Conveyor feed Belt 20" belt, feed rate meter and relay. The third line item 0003: includes relocation, installation and engineering of complete Airflow system. To include electrical and mechanical engineering, training of users, wiring for sequential starting of individualcomponents. The Air Evacuation System will be linked with Security Engineered Machinery(SEM)existing disintegrator equipment model 1424. Therefore, compatibililty and reliability are a must. The Air evacuation system must not decrease disintegrator's shredding capability of 800lbs per hour and shredding of bound manual and printouts from 4" to 6" thick. Installation must include relocation of existing disintegrator and installation of new disintegrator. A site visit is encouraged; however, date and time is the descretion of the Contracting Officer.
