The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement for Aviation Fuel Reclamation Systems. The system is a land-based, stand-alone device for the reclamation of JP-5 and JP-8 waste fuel collected and segregated from other used oils. Performance specification 4825FR-PD applies. The system will remove particulates and water from the fuel and yield a clean product suitable for reissue to aircraft. This procurement is being solicited under the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as required to meet the Navy's requirements as specified herein. The procurement provides provisions for submission of drawings and preproductive testing. The solicitation will result in issuance of an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity firm fixed type contract with provisions for ordering 50 additional units spread over calendar years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002.
