The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award a sole source contract to Photon Kinetics, Baldwinsville, NY for a Model 2500 Optical Fiber Measurement System including Pulse Bandwidth, Silicon Detector and Mode Field Diameter (l EA). The System shall include all hardware, software and accessories required to perform the following optical fiber measurements: multimode fiber spectral attenuation, multimode fiber numerical aperture (far field scan), multimode fiber core diameter (near field scan), multimode fiber optical bandwidth (time domain), single mode fiber spectral attenuation, single mode fiber cutoff wavelength and single mode fiber mode field diameter.
