The solicitation number is DTCG40-97-Q-70081 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. This Request for Quotation constitutes an invitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. In accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5 this action is reserved exclusively for small business concerns. Therefore, FAR Clause 52.219-6 is applicable to this acquisition. Applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 3648, size 500 employees. The acquisition is: (Item No. 001) 1125 Ea, Rescue Strobe Light to be made in accordance with ELC Specification Number #P-600-0300 dated 11 May 1995. Stearns Mfg model #I911 and ACR Electronics, Inc. model #MS2000M P/N 3990 have been determined to meet all requirements of ELC Specification #P-600-0300.
