Bentley, Contracting Officer, (205)955-1187 The U.S. Army Space and Strategic Defense Command intends to enter into a non-competitive contract with Boeing North American, Inc. for development of a solid-state direct detection laser radar (LADAR) with Angle-Angle-Range (A-A-R) target imaging capability. The effort continues upon the conceptual design and component testing initiated under the EKV (ADI) Program. Under the basic effort, the contractor will integrate a laser with receiver, electronics, and optics to form the LADAR Breadboard. The proposed contract will include an option for upgrade of the breadboard hardware and development of a flight brassboard that will be flown along with an EKV-type platform to observe and discriminate the same target. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), intended service is Boeing North American, Inc., Space Systems Division, 12214 Lakewood Boulevard, P.O. Box 7009, Downey, CA 90241-7009. See Note 22.
