(EPA) has a requirement for contractor support in the area of Pesticide
Health Effects Data Review, Evaluation and Assessment. This requirement
will provide technical/scientific support for the review and evaluation
of toxicological and pharmacological studies reporting tests of
pesticides in laboratory animals, clinical reports, monitoring and
epidemiological studies, and accidental pesticide exposure incident
studies. These studies are submitted to EPA under the Federal
Insecticide, Rodenticide, Fungicide Act(FIFRA) as amended in 1988 and
the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA) of 1997. In addition, this
requirement will provide for the development and/or evaluation of new
procedures or methodologies for testing pesticides for human health
effects, the conduct of expert reviews of complex science issues, and
the data extraction/entry of toxicological data into computerized data
bases. The principal products of the contract resulting from this
procurement will be Data Evaluation Reports (DERs). This procurement is
a 100% small business set aside. It is anticipated that the resulting
cost-plus fixed-fee, level of effort type contract will have a Base
Period of 12 months and four-12 month Optional Periods, each period
will have a basic quantity of 18,280 hours. The applicable SIC Code is
8731. Prospective offerors shall submit a written request to the above

the source list will be issued to all prospective offerors as an
attachment to the solicitation. No telephonic or faxed request will be
accepted. All responsible sources may submit a response which will be
considered by the Agency. A limited number of copies are available on
a first-come first-serve basis. Only one copy shall be issued to a
corporate entity, regardless of the number of request from one or more
