The project consists essentially of, but is not limited to, the construction of Facility 944, a pre-engineered metal building, and all associated site work to house equipment and personnel for testing of aircraft parts. It also involves the renovation of the existing administrative area and part of the industrial area of Facility 719 to include new walls, finishes, mechanical and electrical work; complete new mechanical system; complete new fire alarm system; and all associated items. This solicitation is an Invitation for Bid and is issued on an unrestricted basis. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1541. All responsive bidders will be considered by the agency. Contract performance period is 530 calendar days. Project magnitude is between $1 million and $5 million. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the opening/closing date.
