The Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY is seeking qualified, responsible firms who the capacity and capability to provide all necessary labor,materials, tools and equipment for completion of Project 97-101, Elevator Deficiencies. Work shall be performed on five (5) existing Otis elevators and shall consist of installing new controllers, SCR drive with isolation transformer and choke system, selector leveling unit,door operators, main car station, traveling cable and hoistway wiring, hall push buttons, hoistway door equipment, auto dial phone system, training of VAMC personnel and maintenance services. Performance time will be 300 Calendar Days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Cost range is bewteen $450,000 to $500,000. Standard Industrial (SIC) Code for this acquisition is #8999, Services, N.E.C. and will be subject to the Service Contract Act. The Government will require a 90 day acceptance period for bids submitted.
