S/N 2010-01-F97-1001; Manufacture, testing, inspection, preservation and packaging of propulsion shafts to be installed on 110' WPB Vessels. Material shall be as specified in ASTM A564-95 Type 630 H1150 Class A, and shall have a minimum ultimate tensile strenth of 135,000 psi, elongation of not less than 16%, and tensile yield strength of 105,000 psi. Tapers shall be machined by a computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathe in accordance with a government furnished gauge set. Delivery of manufactured shafts shall be made, F.O.B. Destination, within approximately 120 calendar days after award to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is intended to award a requirements type contract for a base year with four (4) option years. The date for receipt of bids has not been determined, but will be specified in the solicitation when issued. When calling to request a solicitation package, be prepared to state name, address, and solicitation number. Allresponsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
