65 -- CAROUSEL UPGRADE TO INCUBATION SOL FSIS-36-W-97 DUE 072297 POC Contact Point, Julie Adams, (202) 720-9891 The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service intends to award a contract to Zymark Corporation, Hopkinton, MA for a carousel upgrade to incubation for a Zymark Incubation system. The upgrade will include the following: (1) incubation panels, NesLab circulator and 8 slot local controller; (1) custom oven, 100 degrees C, automated 8 position, microplate; (1) 50455 Zytrack Linear travel is 36" with a speed of 1ft/second, includes 58180 Zytrack Table (9x12') and 58181 Mobile Support Bench; and field engineering support to assist in setting up Zytrack. All interested concerns must identify their interest in writing and fully document their capability to meet the agency's requirements by forwarding a detailed response within 15 days of publication of this notice. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to 202-690-1814. All proposals from responsible sources will be considered by the Agency. If no affirmative written responses are received within 15 days of publication of this notice to determine that a comparable source is available and is more advantageous to the Government, negotiations will take place with Zymark Corporation.
