The Navy requires 200 each CNU-577E Shipping and Storage Containers manufactured in accordance with NAVAIR Drawing No. 3495AS100. Predominant material of manufacture is aluminum alloy. Maximum outer dimensions are 31.75"L (including handles) x 16.25"W (including hinges and latches) x 14.25 stacking height with a base and lid split of 12.25" and 2"; interior shall be 28.25"L x 13.25"W x 13.25"H. Weight is no more than 23.5 pounds. Various military specifications apply. First Article Testing will be required. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This action is reserved exclusively for Small Business concerns; the applicable SIC code is 3443 and the size standard is 500 employees or less. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane within 120 days after award. It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
