USAID is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) for a new results package called PVO/NGO Networks. The primary result for which the Recipient is responsible is ensuring progress toward the achievement of PVO/NGO Networks to increase the use of family planning, reproductive health, child survival and human immunodeficiency virus (FP/RH/CS/HIV) services through enhanced capacities of PVO/NGO networks and partnerships. It will focus on adding/strengthening FP/RH, including sexually transmitted infections, STI/HIV, to or in child survival and/or other development programs, and coordinating technical support for child survival activities that PVOs/NGOs are already implementing. The anticipated issuance date is July 7, 1997, with the closing date of August 8, 1997, 2:00 p.m., EST. The total RFA is approximately 160 pages long. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format).
