(RFA) for a new results package called PVO/NGO Networks. The primary
result for which the Recipient is responsible is ensuring progress
toward the achievement of PVO/NGO Networks to increase the use of
family planning, reproductive health, child survival and human
immunodeficiency virus (FP/RH/CS/HIV) services through enhanced
capacities of PVO/NGO networks and partnerships. It will focus on
adding/strengthening FP/RH, including sexually transmitted infections,
STI/HIV, to or in child survival and/or other development programs,
and coordinating technical support for child survival activities that
PVOs/NGOs are already implementing. The anticipated issuance date is
July 7, 1997, with the closing date of August 8, 1997, 2:00 p.m., EST.
The total RFA is approximately 160 pages long. The preferred method of
distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by
request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2

Web Site. The RFA, once issued, can be downloaded from the Agency web
site. The Worldwide Web address is http://www.info.usaid.gov. Select
Business and Procurement Opportunities from the home page, then "USAID
Procurements." On the following screen, select "Download Available
USAID Solicitations." The RFA can also be downloaded via Anonymous File
Transfer Prototcol (FTP). The FTP address is FTP.INFO.USAID.GOV. Logon
using the user identification of "anonymous" and the password is your
e-mail address. Look under the following directory for the RFA:
pub/OP/RFA/OP971399/op971399.rfa. Receipt of this RFA through Internet
must be confirmed by written notificiation to the contact person noted
above. It is the responsiblity of the recipient of this solicitation
