R -- TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES SOL 590-06-98 DUE 073197 POC Barbara Simmons (757)728-3115 This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. The sic code is 7374. Contractor will be required to furnish medical transcription services. Reports will be transmitted electronically into the medical center's software program. The contractor shall provide access to a state of the art digital dictation system capable of handling a minimum of seven concurrent dications. Dictation must be able to be received 24 hours per day seven days per week. Turn around times from dictation to receipt of transcribed documents vary from four hours to forty-eight hours and will be stricly enforced. The government reserves the right to award this contract on an other than lowest price based upon a technical evaluation which will be assessed prior to award. Requests for solicitaion packages MUST be made in writing, no verbal requests will be accepted. Requests for packages may be faxed to (757)728-3132. The solicitation packages will be available July 11, 1997 and must be received by close of business July 31, 1997.
