Goodchild, 253-984-3878, Contracting Officer Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials and supervision for the construction work to Repair Maintenance Dock Buildings 1164, 1165 to include: 1) Demolition and provision of exterior personnel and overhead doors, interior finishes, mechanical and electrical systems, and abatement of asbestos containing materialsand lead control procedures. 2) Provision of new interior finishes to include ceiling, flooring, painting, metal siding, chemical resistant urethane coating, lighting, fire alarm system, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. 3) Construction of concrete masonry unit interior walls, concrete slab topping, structural metal deck, and concrete ceilings over interior rooms. 4) Alteration of mechanical and electrical rooms to provide for explosion proof equipment. All work is to be performed at McChord AFB, Washington. The magnitude of the construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This acquisition is unrestricted. The period of performance is 220 days forproject 95-2007 and 190 days for project 95-2008 (concurrent performance of the projects). Solicitation is expected to issue on or about 22 Jul 97, with a bid opening date projected for 26 Aug 97. SIC is 1542 with an average revenue of $17 million for the last three years. There is a $95.00 non-refundable charge for each bid set. Payment in the form of a company check, certified cashier's check, or U.S. Postal money order made payable to the "Department of the Air Force" must accompany each request.
