Z -- REPLACE BOILER, BLDG. 10, NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY, NEW ORLEANS, LA SOL N62467-97-B-7085 DUE 090297 POC Cheryl Santos, Contract Specialist, (504) 678-2150, ext. 31. The work includes the replacement of an existing hot water boiler on the 2nd floor of Bldg. 10 with a new unit to be located in it's own building next to an existing condenser unit on the north side of the building. Included with this new boiler are support items which include new piping with insulation, new gas train, new pumps and tanks, and extension of electric, water and gas service to the new building. Existing chilled water piping in the boiler and mechanical rooms to be retained and is to have its existing insulation removed and replaced. New hot water supply and return piping with related valves and fittings are to be extended from the large air handler next to the boiler to a secondary mecanical room at the east end of the building. A floor drain will be provided to the new boiler house. Other relate work as specified in the plans and specs. Estimate cost is between $100,000 -- $250,000. This solicitation is offered on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Estimated duration is 180 days completion. THIS PROJECT REQUIRES A 90 DAY BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD.
