Z -- REPAIR LEAN TO HANGERS 1, 2, 3 & 4 SOL F4560397B8011 DUE 082797 POC SSgt Glass, (206)984-2534 or by fax, (206)984-5207/5053 The work covered in these specifications consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials (except Government-furnished materials) for the construction work at McChord AFB, WA. The contractor is responsible for accomplishing all items of work accordance with the applicable drawings, specifications and provisions of the contract. Any sundry labor, materials, equipment and/or appurtances not specifically detailed or specified, but required to complete the project, shall be provided as an integral part of the scope of work hereinafter specificaied. The following items are a brief summary of the project revealing the general nature of the work involved. 1.1 Repair Lean To Areas, Hangars 1 and 2, includes but is not limited to, the following work: 1.1.1 Repair/Replacement of exterior doors & frames 1.1.2 Install new free standing metal canopies at designated exits 1.1.3 Replacement of exterior windows with new historically simulated anodized aluminum. 1.1.4 Cleaning and repair of brick masonry 1.1.5 Modify and/or provide new T-bar/ acoustical ceiling tile at interior spaces adjacent exterior wall where transition of suspended ceiling occurs at new windows. 1.1.6 Install concrete ramp for the handicapped. 1.2 Repair Lean To Areas, Hangars 1 and 2, includes but is not limited to, the following work: 1.2.1 Repair/Replacement of exterior doors & frames 1.2.2 Install new free standing metal canopies at designated exits 1.2.3 Replacement of exterior windows with new historically simulated anodized aluminum. 1.2.4 Cleaning and repair of brick masonry 1.2.5 Modify and/or provide new T-bar/ acoustical ceiling tile at interior spaces adjacent exterior wall where transition of suspended ceiling occurs at new windows. 1.2.6 Installation of exterior insulation and finish system (EIFS) on existing metal exterior walls of Hangar No.4.
