Synopsis 97-30:The work includes installation of a new fire sprinkler system to cover the entire building, including connection to water main, fire riser, and fire alarm system. Replace 4" sewer drain from building to sewer manhole 73 with a new 6" line. Repair landscaping/sidewalk as required. Steam/pressure clean all existing drain pipes and grease interceptor in the building. Replace specified exhaust fans. Provide new controls and electrical power to the new units. For all rain gutters of the building, provide new downspouts discharging via horizontal piping to the street surface, and incidental related work in Bldg. 33 at the Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach CA by means of a firm fixed price contract. The estimated cost is between $100, 000 and $250,000. Performance time will be 180 days, commencing 15 calendar days after award. Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. The proposed contract is unrestricted. The SIC is 1731. The related small business size standard is $7 million.
