MOSELEY (703) 806-4435 (Site Code DADW35) The U.S. Army Directorate of Contracting, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue a Solicitation for a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for Sanitary Sewer Repair, Lewis Heights (1700 Area) Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The work consists but not limited to: replace existing sanitary sewer system in basements of 40 buildings, connect floor drain and sump drain systems to the new sanitary sewer system, provide lateral connections and tie to existing cleanouts outside of buildings. Work includes sawcut and removal of basement slabs at locations of existing and proposed lines as indicated, providing new lines, removal of existing lines, backfilling and concrete repair work. Remove abandoned hot water pipes and patch concrete walls. Install and operate bypass pumps as required. The proposed contract is 100% Set Aside for Small Business concerns with a Size Standard of $17.0 Million. SIC is 1623. The Magnitude is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
