The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, design and supplies required to produce 12 rocket storage/transport racks. These racks will be used for storage and transportation for a variety of rocket sizes and weights. In accordance with FAR part 52.209-4, First Article Approval-Government Testing will be required. Prototype shall be completed and delivered for approval to the Government within 30 days after award notification. Upon approval of the design and prototype, the remaining 11 racks shall be delivered to 56 EMS/LGMW 6207 N. Ammo Drive Luke AFB AZ. Sizes and weights are as followed: ROCKET WEIGHTS ROCKET LENGTHS Min. 17.47 lb. Min. 50.2" Max. 31.34 lb. Max. 72.31" An estimated size configuration of the racks is a length 6'8", width 5'2", and height 35". The minimal specification required for the rack are as followed. 2 Gates on each end that open from the center sideways. Hold a minimum of 51 rockets. 3 Tiers to hold 3" diameter tubes. 4" space to allow for forklift tines from all sides. Must be able to stack on each other. Tubes must be inclined to prevent rockets from sliding out. Storage rack must not exceed 1151.6 lb. All 3' PVC tubing provided by USAF.
