41 -- REFRIGERATION, AIR-CONDITIONING, AND AIR CIRCULATING EQUIPMENT SOL F04693-97-B-0007 DUE 090797 POC Marilyn Doty, Contract Administrator, (310)363-5079; Dennis Hass, Contracting Officer, (310)363-5114 Space and Missile Systems Center/Operational Contracting Division (SMC/PKDK) is seeking interested sources for competitively awarding a Mechanical Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to remove/replace air handlers at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California. The scope of work shall consist of removing and disposing of existing air handling units and associated return air fan, supply and install air handling unit, ductwork within the penthouse, modify the penthouse including lighting, provide bond for the roof of the penthouse and adjacent areas. Basic effort will consist of one (1) year with four (4), one (1) year options totaling five (5) year contract. The Government will be obligated to the contractor for a minimum of $20,000 for the basic and each option exercised. The contractor will bid using a coefficient based on the current year RS Means catalog. Performance period shall be established for each delivery order as awarded. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 1711. Small Business with the capability to perform this requirement are encouraged to participate.
