(3) each; d) Protocol Analyzer Module with 4MB RAM, part number
9305/00.06, quantity of two (2) each; e) FDDI SAS/DAS interface w/4MB
RAM, part number 9305/00.13, quantity of two (2) each; f) Media f.

two (2) each.. Delivery will be made to Sunnyvale, CA. This is a
combined synopsis/solicitation, items prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR 13.106-2, as supplemented with the additional information
included with this notice. This announcement constitutes only the
solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. The request for quotation number assigned to this
acquisition is DAAB07-97-R-K530. Solicitation requirements and
incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal
Acquisition Circular 90-46. Offerors are requested to provide written
quotes for contract line item 0001AA, Protocol Analyzer, quantity of
two (2) each; 0001AB Removable Disk Drive Adapter, quantity of two (2)
each; 0001AC PCMCIA Type II Removable Disk, quantity of three (3)
each; 0001AD Protocol Analyzer Module quantity of two (2) each; 0001AE,
FDDI SAS/DAS Interface, quantity of two (2) each; 0001AF, Media f.
DA-3X Windows SW, quantity of two (2) each 0001AG, Media f. DA-30
Character Based SW, quantity of two (2) each. Options/ items 0001AA
through 0001AG must all be compatible with each other. This acquisition
is a proposed sole source to Wandel & Gotherman, Inc, 1340 Tully Road,
Suite 307, San Jose, CA 95122-3055, cage code 3J671. The Government
does not possess technical data completely defining form, fit, and
function of the item being procured and has no way of evaluating a
substitute item. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal
which shall be considered by this agency. A delivery schedule of sixty
days after award is required. Delivery F.O.B. Destination to
Sunnyvale, CA. Inspection and acceptance will be at the source. Award
will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror.
Offerors are advised of the applicability of the following FAR clauses
and provisions: 52.212-1, Instructions To Offerors-Commercial Items;
52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5,
Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or
Executive Orders. Successful offeror will be asked to complete
Representations and Certifications, that would ordinarily be included

Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an
Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of
Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from
Government to Industry. All interested parties wishing to do business
with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from
the CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an
identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal
equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the
EBB system. A user's identification code and password will be issued
upon request along with instructions for downloading the EBB User's
Manual. All requests must include (1) company name, (2) point(s) of
contact name(s) and title(s), (3) return address(es) and (4) telephone
