This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, this synopsis shall serve as a Request for Quotation, umbered F62562-97-Q2828 which seeks quotations based on the information contained in this synopsis. This synopsis and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-42. It is the Government's intent to purchase 1371 TN of 80/20 Mix USGA Green Materials and 241 TN of Pea Gravel. All specification will be provided by fax per request. The delivery of supply shall be made partially for one year as soon as receipt of order by the Contractor. FOB Point is Sharpe Army Depot, CA. Responses to this notice will be considered for award to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest overall costto the government. The following provision/clauses apply to this acquisition FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial (Oct. 1995), 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Mar 1996), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct. 1995), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug. 1996).
