A -- CONDUCT SPECIAL MEASUREMENT STUDIES OF ACID DEPOSITION IN THE NORTHEASTERN SOL 52EANR700062 POC W. L. Taylor, Contract Specialist, 757-441-6888 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Pennsylvania State University to provide labor and material to continue monitoring precipitation on a daily basis according to the methods specified by the AIRMON Central Analytical Laboratory,weekly basis according to the methods specified by the National Atmospheric Deposition Program, and continue monitoring precipitation on a daily basis according to the methods specified by the Canadian CANSAP network. The period of performance is from October 1, 1997 to September 30, 1998. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds requirement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Pennsylvania State Unversity under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within thirty (30) days from the date of synopsis. (0189)
