Concerns having the ability for providing a community residential corrections facility(s) for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, training opportunities and treatment, to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of the facility shall be in the geographic district incorporating the Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, defined as North of the base of San Bernardino Mountains, West of Los Angeles County line and Corona Freeway 61, South of Orange and San Diego County Lines and East of County Highway Route 3, California State Highway 79, Interstate 10, California State Highway 62 and Base of San Bernardino Mountains. The estimated number of mandays are 21,600 for the base period; 11,680 for the first option year; 12,410 for the second option year; and 13,140 for the third option year. (males 70%, females 30%). Estimated RFP issue date is August 8, 1997, estimated RFP closing date is October 7, 1997. The Contract Base Period is two years with three one-year options to renew. A requirements contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
