The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure under full and open competition procedures nonpersonal contractor engineering and technical services (CETS) by qualified field service personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the F18 and EA6B aircraft and associated equipment. The proposed procurement consists of two (2) tasks: 30946, for Logistic Support for airframes, avionics and associated equipment; 32305, for engine/airframe interface, automatic flight control system, control surfaces, rigging environmental control systems, landing and arresting gear, and nondestructive inspection and corrosion. Each task comprises one basic year and two options of one year each for a total of 72 man months for both tasks. The period of performance for the basic year is expected to begin 01 Oct 97 and run through 30 Sept 98. This contract covers the Government's minimum needs. A Labor Hour type contract with fixed price man day rates is contemplated.All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by FISC NOR DET PHILA.
