This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is set aside for small businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer. This announcement constitites the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a seperate written solicitation will not be issued. DAAA03-97-T-0084 is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The standard industrial code is 1711 and the business size is NTE &7.0 million. The agency need is for parts, labor, equipment, supplies, and transporation to replace 7 each existing package HVAC units in Bldg. 57-150 on Pine Bluff Arsenal. Existing equipment is Snyder General, Model CPGHA024G075. Replacement equipment to be 50,000 BTU heating capacity, 23,400 BTU cooling capacity, 208/230 1 phase, 2100 CFM air colume, Lennox, Model GCS29-024-50, or equal. Modify existing ductwork to accomodate new units. Install new heat/cool thermostat with subbase, Lennox, MDL 3AAT89A38A1, or equal. Existing concrete pad, size 28" W X 76" L shall be utilized if feasible. Vendor shall remove refrigerant from old equipment, tag, and transport to a location identified by Contracting Officer Representative. Remove and dispose of all debris from job site.
