Saint Louis, Contracting Officer; 304/636-1800, extension 265 The Monongahela National Forest anticipates contracting for several task order contracts for the performance of boundary line location; property corner search, maintenance, and or remonumentation; boundary marking and posting; boundary conflict investigation; and final record and plat preparation for National Forest boundaries. The following evaluation criteria will be utilized in awarding the original task order contracts: 1. Professional registration and years of experience of responsible Land Surveyor; 2. Percent of fieldwork that responsible Land Surveyor will personally inspect (boundary evidence evaluation, traversing, monumentation, true line location and delineation); 3. Field experience of responsible field decision maker, specifically related to rural cadastral surveys in forested, mountainous terrain, including boundary retracement and corner evidence evaluation; 4. Knowledge of individual performing record research and review of local surveying historical practices, record repositories and land ownership patterns; 5. Survey equipment, and procedures, used to achieve and verify minimum required accuracy of 1 part in 5000; 6. Submission of a recent survey plat similar to a Forest Service cadastral survey that is representative of the firm's professionalism; 7. Field experience of designated survey crew and extent of their experience working together as a team; 8. Demonstrated project management capabilities based on size and number of previous similar projects, size of designated survey crew, type and adequacy of support capabilities, and equipment resources available; 9. Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; 10. Location in the general geographic area of the Monongahela National Forest and knowledge of the locality. Interested parties should submit a S.F. 254 and S.F. 255 to the procuring office in Item 7.
