The Federal Bureau of Prisons is soliciting for Catholic Chaplain Religious Services for the Federal Detention Center, 33 N.E. 4th Ave., Miami, Florida 33132. One hour sessions will be provided on weekdays and weekends from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or another mutually convenient time for the Contractor and the Government. There will be a total of eighteen (18), one hour sessions conducted each week. The contractor will be responsible for providing instruction and counseling peculiar to the faith and practice of the Roman Catholic Religion; give spiritual guidance according to the tenets of that faith; provide the celebration of the Mass and the Consecration of the Eucharist, which, according to ecclesiastical law, can only be accomplished by a Roman Catholic Priest; the contractor must also be able to provide the liturgy and sacraments for inmates whose primary language is Spanish . The anticipated period of performance will be as follows: one base year to begin upon date of award through 12 months with four subsequent one year option periods.
