Work will include, but not limited to: Earthwork, General Construction, Alterations, Asbestos Abatement, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Medical Gas, Electrical, Nurses Call System, Security System, necessary removal of existing structures and construction of certain other items. PRE-BID CONFERENCE, including walk-thru is scheduled for July 31, 1997 at 10:00 AM local time, bldg. 1, room 32E. Construction cost range is between $2 million and $5 million dollars. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about July 16, 1997 and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis until supply is exhausted. Mandatory contract completion time is 450 calendar days. BOD is August 28, 1997 at 2:00 PM local time, and all bidders are expected and urged to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Requests for bid documents must be in writing on company letterhead to the Contracting Officer, address above. No telephone or fax requests will be honored.
