placing Minor Hot Asphalt for roadway reconditioning, a single Asphalt
Surface Treatment Course (Chip Seal), placing Permanent Markings on
20.92 kilometers of roadway on the Fort Totten Indian Reservation,
Benson County, North Dakota. The estimated price range will be
$500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Bidding material will be available July
25, 1997, at a cost of $25.00 per set, non-refundable. This is a
Total-Buy Indian set aside for economic enterprises that are 51% Indian
Owned & Controlled Firms. "Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C.
460E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 require that preference opportunities in
employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic
Enterprises. Failure to complete the subcontracting information in the
bid package shall be sufficient reason for non-award of contract.
