The project consists of furnishing manpower, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to design and construct a Cross Dock Expansion to the Atlanta, Georgia, Bulk Mail Center (1800 James Jackson Parkway, NW, Atlanta, GA 30369-9751) of approximately 24,000 gross square feet. The completion date for the entire project shall be within 250 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost range is between $2,400,000 to $2,700,000. Technical submittals will require evidence of (1) Experience; (2) Management Plan; (3) Financial Capability; and (4) Organization. Plans will be available July 9, 1997. Offers due August 13, 1997. A formal Preproposal Conference is scheduled for July 22, 1 p.m., at the Bulk Mail Center, Third Floor -- in PEDC area. Attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. A walk-through of the site will follow the conference. The nonrefundable cost of the plans and specifications for this project is $150/set for Priority Mail service (2 to 3 days).
