Selfridge ANGB MI is soliciting for a demolition contract to provide all plant, labor, material, equipment and appliances to remove underground storage tanks IAW EPA and Michigan DNR requirements. Motor gas fuel tank at Hangar 1429 and heating oil storage tanks abandoned in 1970 at Building 301 and Building 302 are no longer in use or required. Removal is required to preclude groundwater contamination, to comply with EPA and DNR regulations and ANG policy. All work to be done in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Project VGLZ950044, "Remove UTS' 301, 302, 1429". The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Performance period is 60 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
