Grubbe, Contract Specialist (205) 933-4492 The DVAMC Birmingham, AL intends to contract for the DVAMC Tuscaloosa, AL for a contractor to provide thirteen (13) wall mounted computer work stations designed to fit specific space constraint situations in patient exam rooms. The computer equipment must not protrude from the wall more than six (6) inches with the keyboard tray in the closed position. The following is a listing of minimum salient characteristics: a) Ten (10) Each -- 486 DX-4 100 MHZ CPU, 32MB RAM, 540MB Hard Drive; 8KB Internal Cache; One ISA 16-Bit ISA Expansion Slot; PCMIA Slot (One (1) Type III or Two (2) Type II); Two (2) Serial Ports; Standard PS/2 Keyboard connection; External Monitor Port; Printer Port; b) Keyboard Cabinet -- Fold-up locking keyboard cabinet ergonomically designed with wrist rest; 10.4" Color Display 640 X 480 resolution; Keyboard; Mouse PS/2, Wall mount kit with flush mount and locking keyboard cabinet. c) Three (3) each -- 486 DX-4 100MHZ CPU; 32MB RAM; 540MB Hard Drive; 8KB InternalCache; One (1) ISA 16-Bit ISA Expansion Slot; PCMIA Slot (One (1) Type III or Two (2) Type II); Two (2) Serial Ports; Standard PS/2 Keyboard Connection; External Monitor Port; Printer Port; d) Keyboard Cabinet -- Fold-up locking keyboard cabinet with ergonomically designed wrist rest; 10.4" Color Display 640 X 480 Resolution; Keyboard; Mouse PS/2; 12" Bedside Swing Arm for PC, which allows work station to move up, down and side to side; locking keyboard cabinet. e) Two (2) each 2.5 Inch External Floppy Drives to be utilized with works stations, external floppy drives. Proposals submitted for this solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with the following rating factors in descending order of importance: Vendor experience and demonstrated capabilities; functional user requirements; technical system requirements; price.
