The CECOM Acquisition Center-Washington Operations Office intends to modify the Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) Contract No. DAHC94-96-D-0003 issued to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), on a sole source basis, to extend the period of performance for Computer Sciences Corporation to provide software modification, integration, installation and demonstration services and perform testing and training in support of the Department of Defense Infrastructure Initiative (DII) portions of the Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) program; and to expand the scope of the contract to provide the services to non-DoD sites/users that require JCALS system infrastructure. Items incidental to these services may also be required (e.g. cabling, wiring, personal computers, etc.) The period of performance for this modification is for thirty-six (36) months beginning October 1, 1997. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, information received in writing by August 11, 1997 will be considered by the Government.
