FISC San Diego is issuing a notice of intent to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00244-97-9771. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. This is a unrestricted solicitation, SIC code 3331. The items being requested are as follows: 44 feet of beryllium copper bar, meeting ASTMB196/alloy 172, condition: HT condition, dia 3 1/8" dia, in 4 foot lengths; 44 feet of beryllium copper bar meeting ASTMB196 / alloy 172, condition : AT condition, dia 3", in 4 foot lengths; and 54 feet of beryllijm copper bar, meeting ASTMB196 / alloy 172, condition: AT condition, dia 3 1/8", in 3 foot lengths. FOB destination prices arerequired. Delivery will be to NADEP North Island San Diego CA. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 paragraph (b)(5): offers shall provide an express warrant which at a minimum shall be included in the contract.
