Provide all Supervision, material and labor necessary to perform drydock and repairs to NOAA Ship RELENTLESS to be performed at the contractor's facility. Performance period to commence approximately October 7, 1997, and shall be completed on or before January 16, 1998. The requirement consists of 13 basic items and 5 additional option items. One of the basic items is towing the vessel from Charleston, SC to the contractor's facility and after completion of work towing of vessel from contractors facility to Pascagoula, MS. Other basic items include Underwater Hull Preservation, Load Line Survey, SSDG Engines' Top-end Overhaul, Ship Service Generators' Overhaul, Propeller and Propeller Shaft Inspections and others. The option items Include Seawater System Modifications, Above Water Hull and House Painting, Deck Painting and others. The vessel will be available for inspection August 20 and 21, 1997, in Charleston, SC. Characteristics of NOAA Ship RELENTLESS: Length Overall -- 224 feet; Beam -- 43feet; Draft -15'-1"; Depth to Main deck -- 20'; Displacement -- 2,283LT.
