The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Washington intends to award a sole-source contract to Picker International of Bedford Heights, Ohio. This requirement will provide hardware and software maintenance services, which includes on site remedial repairs, emergency repairs, routine preventive maintenance services, and repair parts for Department of Defense owned Picker 1000 and Picker 3000 Gamma Cameras. It will include all systems, subsystem components, and assemblies which were part of the original systems purchased under contract N00600-92-C-0226. All equipment is located at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD 20889-5600. A Justification and Approval has been prepared. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with one (1) base year and four (4) one-year option years. The effective date of the base year will be 17 December 1997.
