EXHIBITS AT THE 1997 TRAINING RESOURCES AND DATA EXCHANGE CONFERENCE, DECEMBER 2-4, 1997 The Department of Energy's (DOE) Training Resources and Data Exchange (TRADE) network is seeking up to 15 exhibits from commercial businesses to include in the exhibit area of the 21st Annual TRADE Conference, December 2-4, 1997, in Denver, CO. About 500-700 chiefly DOE and DOE contractor personnel are expected to attend. The Conference theme is "Focus on Business Performance: Maximizing Our Return on Investment." The TRADE network includes more than 6000 federal and contractor personnel tasked with training and workplace performance as they affect DOE operations such as environment, safety, and health; security; and quality and performance management. The following criteria (in order of importance) will be used to select proposals: 1. The proposal must detail how the exhibit will present new information, products, or technologies of potential use in assisting the DOE community in (1) making key business decisions in the DOE environment, (2) maintaining organizational strength during times of change, (3) meeting DOE and corporate goals for performance in ES&H and security, or (4) applying new technologies and paradigms in training and education. 2. Preference will be given to exhibits (freestanding or tabletop) that fit within a 10 x 6 foot area -- the standard space for a single exhibit. 3. Preference will be given to proposals from businesses (1) in the Denver region, or (2) in other areas of the country where DOE facilities are located. A fee of $650.00 will be charged for each exhibit.
