schurone@vafb5a.vafb.af.mil. The Aerospace Fuels Laboratory (OL
SA-ALC/SFTLE) at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California requires a
contractor to relocate scientific instrumentation and office equipment
located in Building 7422 to Building 6670 (approximately 0.25 miles
distance). Contractor to move all listed equipment assuring that
fragile instrumentation is not damaged in the move. Contractor will
perform baseline verification of existing equipment and deinstall all
equipment. Contractor will transport instrumentation using covered
vehicles to new laboratory room locations. Contractor will reinstall
all gas chromatographs and associated tubing, leak check connections
and perform verification tests. All gas chromatograph mass spectrometer
(GC/MS) systems will pass autotune and standard checkout samples when
reinstalled. Other instrumentation will pass standard vendor procedures
upon completion of the move. Packing of loose items will be conducted
by the Contractor and delivered to Building 6670. The Contractor shall
provide allnecessary boxes for storing miscellaneous office articles.
OL SA-ALC/SFTLE personnel will pack, label and tape all boxes
containing desk items and office equipment. Contractor will pack
glassware. OL SA-ALC/SFTLE personnel will pack label and tape boxes
containing instrument manuals, instruments components and associated
supplies. Files to be moved full. A listing of furniture and scientific
instrument inventory showing the general scope and size of the
relocation project will be provided upon request. This will not be an
exact list of the items to be moved. It is highly recommended that
Contractors participate in the walk-through of the existing
installation. Proposed move to occur during the month of August or
September 1997 Contractor qualifications: Contractor personnel must be
factory-trained in scientific instrumentation operation and have
current factory certificates to demonstrate expertise. Contractor to
provide references with bid and the estimated days to complete the move
and verification testing. . This acquisition is subject to the
requirements of the Service Contract Act. DOL Wage Determination No.
95-0090 dated 02/09/1995 shall apply. Site Visit: 17 July 1997, 1:00
