Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items or services necessary to perform the management and operation of a commercial travel office supporting official and unofficial travel at the following locations: Vandenberg AFB, CA; McClellan AFB, CA; Onizuka AFB, CA; and Beale AFB, CA. A discount fee will apply to all official travel; a concession fee will apply to unofficial travel. To be considered, offerors must meet the following minimum requirements: (1) Contractor shall use established computer reservation system (i.e. Apollo, Sabre, SystemOne, or WorldSpan; (2) Contractor shall be in good standing with the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) and be capable of writing tickets on all approved carriers; (3) Because of Government billing procedures, contractors must maintain the capability to sustain 30 to 60 day delays in the Government's payment for tickets used for official travel (historical data indicates that this could be in excess of $750,000); (4) Contrator must have the capability for computer interface with Air Force TTOPRS billing system; and (5) Contractors must be knowledgable of the requirements of the ARC Handbook and GSA city pairs contract as they pertain to the proper issuance and payment for tickets for Government travel. Contract will be for a one year period, with eight 6 month option periods. One-on-One discussions will be held 21 through 29 July 1997. The Statement of Work is available for review on-line.
