United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for a new Main
Post Office of 3,180 net interior square feet to be constructed on a
site of approximately 45,695 gross square feet in Ahwahnee, CA. The
basic lease term is twenty years with two separate and consecutive
five-year renewal options. The site controlled by the Postal Service is
located: Portion of APN: 055-460-031 on North side of Hwy. 49 in
community of Ahwahnee, CA. USPS site contains 1.049 acres. The
successful offeror will be required to purchase the site in accordance
with an assignable option. Offerors are cautioned to consult with
local county planning, building department, public works department and
other related agencies fire department, environmental health
department, etc.) concerning additional requirements and/or fees prior
to submitting a proposal. Offeror is responsible for including all
construction costs in his offer as may be required by Federal and/or
State and/or county and/or city governments having jurisdiction.There
is a non-refundable charge of $25.00 for a copy of the solicitation.
